On 14 December 2017 Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway signed new cooperation agreements with Latvia on new programmes under the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021.
Areas of support
- Promoting green innovation business opportunities in cooperation with Norwegian enterprises.
- Supporting reform of the correctional services and combating economic crime.
- Increasing research cooperation through a Baltic research programme in cooperation with Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
- Reducing vulnerability to climate change and cleaning up polluted sites.
