What is a Junior Professional?
On a yearly basis, talented young adults join our Junior Professionals Programme for an 11-month period.
Junior Professionals typically hold a master’s degree in a relevant field. However, candidates with a bachelor’s degree and substantial relevant experience can be considered.
Junior Professionals at the Financial Mechanism Office get to:
- Play an active role in our daily work.
- Gain valuable insight into the EEA and Norway Grants.
- Work with key institutions and partners.
- Work and live in a multicultural environment.
- Put knowledge acquired during studies or work into practice and gain skills to advance future career.
Applications for the Junior Professional Programme normally open each year in January. The Junior Professional positions are available to nationals of Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway. In addition, the positions related to Roma Inclusion and Civil Society Fund are open to nationals of the EU Member States.
Our office is in Brussels, and our working language is English.
The selected candidates start their period from 1 September.
