Schengen cooperation and combating cross-border and organised crime, including trafficking and itinerant criminal groups

With support from Norway, Bulgarian investigators are improving their skills and methods in order to better fight crime and recover illegal assets from criminals.

Making the police more knowledgeable about the Roma communities they are working in, is helping Bulgarian police officers treat the Roma differently and better enable them to deal with their problems.
