Together with Norwegian partners, InterConsult Bulgaria (ICB) has developed a system that monitors the maintenance of industrial machines in a more cost-effective way.
With support from Norway, the Bulgarian furniture producer Valiyan has invested in new machinery contributing to increased production capacity, creation of jobs as well as reduction of energy consumption, waste and emissions.
In Sofia prison in Bulgaria’s capital a new green production facility is set up. The prisoners now get valuable training producing solar panel collectors and water heaters.
64 Norwegian partners take part in green innovation projects in countries such as Estonia, Poland and Romania. “The participation gives direct access to business opportunities and business culture in the beneficiary countries,” says Anne Lise Rognlidalen from Innovation Norway.
Funding is now available for green investment projects in Bulgaria under the ‘Green Industry Innovation’ programme.
