The YES Equality project, in line with the objectives of the program and the identified needs of the Work-life Balance and Gender Equality Program, proposes to develop a range of innovative actions that focus on specific areas such as contributing to "Ensure the civic and political participation of women" by promoting equality between women and men at local and regional level. The actions planned with young people go in the same direction, aiming to sensitize them but also to enable them to replicate and reinvent strategies in their professional contexts.
In order to guarantee the desired impact, the project is based on a broad and expanding work network, including all the agents of the territory in a concerted work strategy, with the purpose of fulfilling its various phases, from the survey and sociological study before thematic, signaling areas and problems of the territory. Thus, it is intended to emphasize the crossing of the three objectives in the sensitization of children and young people, with an impact on the products they develop in the empowerment and empowerment of a parity democracy.
The YES Equality project results from a shared vision and from local and regional synergies, that bets on a network of work, on collective learning and the development of the necessary capacities to realize the social transformation. This project and its financing will make it possible to invest in tools, communication and training of transformation agents. Women and young people who through this project will be trained, integrated into the community (associations, schools, companies, municipalities, etc ... and given tools such as the practical manual for Equality and the YES Equality app that will be present right from the partners of the project, and can easily replicate and expand to other territories.
