The primary objective was to strengthen cooperation through networking, knowledge sharing, and the transfer of best practices. During the visit, both organizations presented their work, discussed common challenges related to volunteering, citizenship, cooperation with local actors, and communication policies. The visit included meetings with local stakeholders, focusing on youth and active citizenship policies. Discussions also covered solidarity initiatives in Iceland, particularly after the economic crisis, and potential collaboration on joint actions and financial proposals under the EEA Grants, aimed at increasing citizen participation in civic activities.
