Description
The main aim of the project is to develop a microgrid controller for integration of renewable resources with office buildings or industrial consumers at an accessible price. The company will develop a smart microgrid controller with integrated control and safety operation functions. They aim to implement a microgrid pilot project to demonstrate that it will increase efficiency in local energy production and will facilitate direct transactions between production and consumer. This should reduce the flow on the transport lines, increasing safety operation and supply of the area, inside the microgrid.
The project development will be corelated with the ENTSO-E Research and Development Implementation Roadmap 2013-2022 and the existing European roadmaps and implementation plans concerning smart grids. Key activities include:
- Services for technical and legal expertise on microgrid operation.
- Research, development and innovation.
- Investment in all equipment and software licenses required for the project implementation.
- Management for the project progress and achievements against scientific and technical objectives will ensure that the project schedule is met.
- The publicity activity will follow the communication plan to implement the dissemination activities and maximize impact and awareness on developed solutions.
The project is expected to generate 2 new jobs.
