People Poland

Poland has the largest of all the EEA Grants-financed NGO programmes with an allocation of €37 million. The Stefan Batory Foundation in partnership with the Polish Children and Youth Foundation has recently opened the first call for proposals under the programme called 'Citizens for democracy'.

A launch conference for the Polish NGO programme will be held in Warsaw 18 and 19 September. The conference will be accompanied by matchmaking workshops to develop and strengthen cooperation between Polish NGOs and NGOs from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

More than 190 organizations from Poland will participate in the event. But more organisations from the donor states are still welcome. Participants from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway may get their travel costs covered. Please apply for participation as soon as possible. Selection is done continuously.
