Description

 The objective of the project is to support Quaesta AI on its journey to increase value creation and sustainable growth within the ICT area. The Applicant aims to enhance its business competitiveness, a technological start-up funded in 2021 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. 

The company provides advanced solutions and services in computer vision, using Machine Learning and Deep Learning methodologies. The current strategy of Quaesta AI is that of moving from customized projects for clients to the introduction of a new product, in the form of a software library for the development of computer vision applications for quality control. 

The outcome of this ICT focused project is expected increased competitiveness and enhanced business cooperation between the donor state and the beneficiary.

This fantastic project is structured on 3 key activities:

- Project Management and Promotion

- External audit

- Training and mentoring activities

This project is also a proud example of the work that is being made to strengthen bilateral relations. Quaesta AI has teamed up with the Norwegian IDN (International Development Norway) to enhance their knowledge and skills through training and mentoring activities. IDN is a spin-out from the SINTEF foundation, the largest contract research institute in Scandinavia. Training activities in Business Development to assist the management of Quaesta AI during the startup and formation stages of the enterprise, with the purpose of significantly enhance the business capabilities and reduce the high failure rates.

The projected is expected to result in increased competitiveness as well as enhanced skills and value creation. Further the project expects to place the expertise of Quaesta AI in a niche in the computer vision for manufacturing in quality control for production processes as but not limited to, anomaly detection in bottling production, quality control of codes, marks, and real-time control of welding processes.
