Description
The project aims to support the development of sustainability and innovation within Romanian business ecosystem. The project will include workshops, training sessions, study visit, good practice sharing events, networking and matchmaking sessions, Innovation Camp, all dedicated to support Romanian companies in the fields of Digital Health, ICT and Industry 4.0 to increase their competitiveness, resilience and to extend on the international markets.
The project will be implemented by Transilvania IT Association (PP) in collaboration with Collective Innovation AS (P1), based on the provided Partnership Agreement.
The collaboration with the Norwegian ecosystem will directly contribute to the success of the project, being in line with the European Sustainable Development Goals: Health&Care, ICT, Industry 4.0. Smart specialization starts from the premise that no region has enough resources to be competitive in all areas, which is why it is much more effective to identify areas where it can make a difference in global competition and then focus its attention on those areas in order to innovate.
According to Digital Economy and Society index, Romania is the last one in the ranking for digitalization and according to European Innovation Scoreboard, Romania is ranked last among emerging innovators. There is a clear need for more support, expertise and know-how on networking, investment, funding, partnership and business development.
The project contributes to the Programme''s objective to increase value creation and sustainable growth in Romanian business sector. Innovation and digitalization are drivers for sustainable and competitive business.
Summary of project results

The project included workshops, training sessions, study visit to Norway, good practice sharing events, networking and matchmaking sessions, Innovation Camp, all dedicated to support Romanian companies in the fields of Digital Health, ICT and Industry 4.0 to increase their competitiveness, resilience and to extend on the international markets.
The results of the project are increased knowledge regarding sustainability and innovation within Romanian business ecosystem, over 100 persons were trained and 30 SME''s have received business skills.
Summary of bilateral results
The visit that was organized by the Norwegian Partner ensured the set up for the development of a long term relationship between the Romanian and the Norwegian ecosystems. Further, the bilateral relations will be multiplied on a larger scale and will continue to generate new business ideas and partnerships.
