Description

The project aims to support the development of sustainability and innovation within Romanian business ecosystem.  The project will include workshops, training sessions, study visit, good practice sharing events, networking and  matchmaking sessions, Innovation Camp, all dedicated to support Romanian companies in the fields of Digital Health, ICT and Industry 4.0 to increase their competitiveness, resilience and to extend on the international markets.

The project will be implemented by Transilvania IT Association (PP) in collaboration with  Collective Innovation AS (P1), based on the provided Partnership Agreement.

The collaboration with the Norwegian ecosystem will directly contribute to the success of the project, being in line with the European Sustainable Development Goals: Health&Care, ICT, Industry 4.0. Smart specialization starts from the premise that no region has enough resources to be competitive in all areas, which is why it is much more effective to identify areas where it can make a difference in global competition and then focus its attention on those areas in order to innovate.

According to Digital Economy and Society index, Romania is the last one in the ranking for digitalization and according to European Innovation Scoreboard, Romania is ranked last among emerging innovators. There is a clear need for more support, expertise and know-how on networking, investment, funding, partnership and business development.

The project contributes to the Programme''s objective to increase value creation and sustainable growth in Romanian business sector.  Innovation and digitalization are drivers for sustainable and competitive business.
