Description

Greensoft is using the knowledge gained from research and practical experience with the aim to produce additional knowledge, that will directly help them to raise the level of technology readiness of the rail transport operation suite. The development of the the Ferodata AI-Enabled Rail Operations Suite, involves creating an artificial intelligence (AI) solution, AI assistant which will “learn” from available data, either in supervised or unsupervised modes, and will develop its own way of analysing data and arriving at a result. The system currently comprises 3 initial modules Ferodata SYS, Ferodata Box and Ferodata Mobile.

The final solution will empower rail transport operators to digitalize their core operations, revenue functions, and asset and crew management processes. Using AI, the solution will become state-of-the-art intelligent management assistant which is expected to provide for example real time position monitoring of railway traction park. Key activities include:

  • Research which includes development, testing and analysis.
  • Project management.
  • Audit by external auditor.
  • Publicity to promote the project.

The project is done in partnership with the Norwegian company ICB Digital. ICB Digital is an innovative Norwegian software company which focuses on enabling digitalization processes in industrial and manufacturing enterprises. ICB experts will work alongside the Greensoft Team to ensure that an optimal AI engine is developed. They will also test and perform quality assurance of the AI engine. Finally, they will make a translation package for Norwegian and Bulgarian language to make it accessible for those markets.

The project is expected to generate 4 new jobs by 2023. Greensoft will also submit a patent application for the software solution.
