The aim of the project is to spread knowledge about children''s rights among adults. We are producing a podcast ''An Important Young Person'' in which we talk about children''s rights and emphasize the impact we all have on whether children''s rights around the world are respected or violated. Together we can create a world where every child lives in a safe and just environment, in which everyone is equal regardless of the differences that divide them: in appearance, culture, origin, gender or financial status. The project is in line with Article 42 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which refers to the need to disseminate information about the principles and provisions of this document. We have been working on behalf of children and young people for more than five years, and for four years we have been dealing with the subject of respect for children''s rights, especially with building awareness of children''s rights. We carry out educational and advocacy activities. Our experience shows that knowledge about children''s rights is not yet widespread, but there is quite a lot of interest in this topic in the society. We invited renowned experts on children''s rights, including former Ombudsman Adam Bodnar, to participate in the podcast. We publish the podcast on major podcast services, including Anchore and Spotify. The direct recipients of the activities are adults from all over the country interested in broadly understood children''s rights, in particular parents and other guardians, pedagogical staff and other people working with children and young people and/or whose work has an influence on the situation of children and young people both in Poland and abroad. Indirect (target) recipients are children, since knowledge of children''s rights among adults affects the situation and life chances of children.
