Description
The purpose of the Project is to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic and sensor systems for environmental monitoring, and develop databases during environmental monitoring, with the overall objective of improving the state of environment in the Malopolska region through investigations in alternative energy sources and environmental sensorics. Reference is made to the application dated 20 June 2006, and correspondence with the Focal Point dated 31 August 2006. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - create design and supervision recommendations for photovoltaic systems in Poland; - optimise photovoltaic design solutions; - develop intelligent sensor systems for environmental protection in the Malopolska region; and - promote renewable energy sources and environmental monitoring issues to the local administrations and schools. The Project Promoter is the AGH University of Science and Technology. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
