Summary of project results

Day 15 was a project for a community that grows with its members united. The events that took place as part of the Day 15 project came in response to this need the community has of self-discovery, offering its members the possibility to try new things together, to see, hear, feel, and learn together. Trying to form a united community is a long lasting effort with long lasting benefits. Day 15 wished to be a stepping stone in this journey people take. Thus, a series of events was launched in Cluj-Napoca, one for every month of the year, each of them revolving around the date of 15th. January brought together the literature lovers, February spoke of equality and challenged people to take part in the no-hate speech movement; in March people got together to plant trees for a greener city; April took the performative arts in unconventional spaces and showed people how much fun sharing a space could be. In May art was brought into the streets, June was focused on the city's river where an artificial beach for everyone to enjoy was built from scratch and in July they shared the city's sky with activities that took place above the ground. August was about each and every one, captured though photography. The autumn was a time for harvesting at a farmers' market and a time for reviving old urban scenes and focusing on sustainability. The month of December was the month for good deeds and charity, thinking of the less fortunate and spending time with the loved ones. Share Federation communicated with large varieties of target audience, as it was important that everyone, regardless of age, sex, profession, upbringing and social status could enjoy and take something away from these experiences. The Promotor showed the people of Cluj-Napoca that they that they can also make a difference when they put their mind to it, while having fun together.
