Description

Measures for improving energy efficiency in public buildings with high levels of consumption are a priority. The project aims at optimizing the lighting system of the Emergency Clinic Hospital Prof. Dr. Agrippa Ionescu in Balotesti, Ilfov, an important health facility treating approx. 22,000 patients annually. The optimal solution identified was the replacement of existing luminaires with LED technology and replacing incandescent light sources with LED light sources. The project is expected to lead to a new energy efficient lighting system (indoor and outdoor) in the hospital (level of environmental impact reduction - 252 tCO2 / year; level of reduction of energy consumption - 360 MWh / year), improved quality and efficiency of lighting related technology, as well as improved working conditions for the medical and administrative staff.

Summary of project results
