Description

The project answers the needs for strengthening the preparation of the Republic of Poland for the threats to internal security by means of intensification of actions integrating undertakings implemented by the participants of multiple subjects system. They are responsible for ensuring safety in Poland. In the framework of the project the coordination mechanisms of 29 such units will be strengthened and their interoperability will be improved by means of joint trainings and exercise. Project results will include increased capacities of services in the scope of prevention and combating cross-border and organised crime including trafficking in human beings and criminal groups migration, which will be achieved by improving the officers’ knowledge in the scope of prevention and combating cross-border and organised crime including trafficking in human beings and criminal groups migration.

Summary of project results

The main goal of the project was to strengthen and protect internal security of Poland by the intensification of steps integrating actions of system multistakeholders. The Project Security (no) Borders strives to enhance mechanisms of coordinated cooperation of services (Police, Border Guards, Military Gendarmerie, Customs, Government Protection Bureau, etc.) as well as better its interoperability by common trainings and simulations. Within the framework of the project, several activities, that affected 30 institutions, have been prepared. Trainings for the Police, Border Guards, Customs, Government Protection Bureau, Military Gendarmerie, National Security Agency were organized on 3 basic fields: - The limitation of organized crime groups financing, - Investigative computer technology, - Operational cooperation and joint actions – trainings in Bieszczady Mountains and shooting range, - 2 conferences.
