Description

The idea is to prepare service officers to effectively identify, prevent and combat contemporary threats arising from cross-border and organised crime related to drug crime, trafficking in human beings, trafficking in human organs, organizing illegal migration, economic crime, counterfeiting of means of payment, money laundering using the so-called cyber-crime. Planned project results: 1. Officers will have access to specialized training courses and conferences, 2. Beneficiaries will increase their capacity to cooperate and coordinate cross-border exchange of information and joint research at the regional level and within the Schengen area, 3. Operational capabilities of the Beneficiaries will be enhanced and harmonized with the EU and Schengen area standards, 4. Operational services of the Partners responsible for preventing and combating cross-border organized crime will be strengthened,

Summary of project results

The main objective of the project was to prepare officers to effective recognition, prevention and counteraction against contemporary dangers having its roots in cross-border and organized crimes in Schengen Zone (drugs, trafficking in human beings and in organs, organized illegal migration, economic crime). Within the framework of the project several activities have been prepared: - 25 professional trainings – 616 participants, - Language courses – 60 participants, - Trainings for drivers of privilege vehicles – 22 participants, - Trainings in first aid – 30 participants, - 2 international conferences, - Seminar meeting for journalists – 20 participants, - 3 reports and 1 tool guide for District Police Headquarters officers
