Description

The main objective of the project is the development and promotion of reading liberature in Poland, Norway and Iceland. Liberature is a new literary direction, is a total work, speaking to participant by all senses. Planned project activities will contribute to a greater understanding of liberature in Poland and Scandinavia, which eventually will increase its readership in both these areas. The planned activities are mainly the creation and promotion of three works of liberature. In selecting the text authors we paid special attention to the variety of forms of planned works. From a classic book work to a music works based on the idea of literature. This diversity aims to show a wide range of forms of communication the liberature, which again will encourage participants to reach for a book. All educational activities planned in the project are associated with the process of the creation of the book, and so we planned a book making workshops , graphic workshop conducted in Warsaw and typographic workshops in cities of Norway and Iceland. We reach ordinary cities’ residents, showing them unusual book, hoping that it will be only the beginning of their adventure with book.

Summary of bilateral results

The main objective of the project "Brumba ..." was to increase readership and promote liberature in Poland, Norway and Iceland. The project activities were not limited to release two publications, but oters acivities like concerts, typographical actions in public spaces, lectures and meetings with artists. The project also contributed to the mobility of artists. The project activities were attended by artists and designers from the Poland, Norway and Iceland, which will strengthen the intercultural dialogue between these countries. Cultural diversity was also highlighted in the typographic thread. the ethnic minorities started to work together by work on a joint letter code. The variety of activities and a wide range of artists from different styles of art, created an interesting artistic offer, encouraging the recipient to participate in the culture.
