Description
The aim of the project is to improve the eco-efficiency and reduce the demand for non-renewable energy of the hospital in Zwolen. The walls of the hospitals have bad thermal parameters, and its windows and doors are wooden and leaky. Heat is generated from a common solid fuel boiler. The existing ventilation is natural, but there are fans in the kitchen. There is no cooling system, teh installation of hot water is made of steel, lighting is based on light bulbs and fluorescent lamps. The technical condition of the building requires thermo-modernization. This project will conduct the termo-modernization of the building, installations of sources of energy and heat, and a new lighting system. Solutions to the problem of environmental performance will also be implemented. The project applies to only one building in the district. However the expected results of the project include an increase in the share of energy coming from renewable sources, an increase in the use of innovative solutions in the district, a reduction in pollution and an increase in the attractiveness of the district as seen from the outside.
Summary of project results
The Beneficiary emphasized that this project was first such wide project implemented by the Zwoleński District. Material scope of the project has been extended. Within investment 4 public utility buildings have been thermomodernized, and 5 heat sources replaced for ecological ones. 75 solar collectors have been installed. Also embedded lightning was modernized and 3 power management system were fitted. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (2796,08 Mg/year). What has to be underlined is that the Beneficiary was fully commited in project implementation, he conduct also interesting promotion activities (website).
