Description

The project is aimed at at the thermal modernization of educational facilities belonging to two schools in Radom. The buildings to be modernized have been constructed with outdated technology, and presently fail to comply with standards of energy efficiency. Their internal lighting system generates increased energy consumption, and the situation negatively affects the conditions of learning and working at the schools. The rising cost of energy has an impact on the town budget, and the obsolete technology causes environmental pollution. The objective of the project is to save energy and to reduce the levels of hazardous pollution. This will be achieved through the improvement of the levels of energy efficiency in the educational facilities. The project also aims at increasing the percentage of energy production derived from renewable sources. Employees and pupils of the schools will benefit from the project, as will the local community due to the savings in the city budget and, indirectly, the population of the town as a whole due to improvements of the local environment. Projects material scope has been extended, additional works have been co-financed under NFM
