Description
The most important needs of the project are: - Reducing the energy costs for heating school buildings; - Improving energy efficiency in school buildings; - Reducing CO2 emissions to the environment. The aim of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of four public buildings within the municipality of Michałów by termomodernization: The school buildings in Michałów, in Węchadłów, in Sędowice and in Góry. Throught the implementation of the project there will be achieved the following results: - An increase in the number of termomodernized public buildings; - An increase in the number of listed and upgraded heat sources; - An increase in the number of in installed machines, devices or installations using energy from renewable sources. With the implementation of the project will benefit the local community of Michałów.
Summary of project results
Projects implementation has contributed to improving of energy and economic efficiency in the Michałów Municipality. Thermomodernisational works covered 4 schools. Within the project 4 heat sources have been modernised - 4 biomass boiler have been installed. Also 3 internal installations have been modernised. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (623 Mg/year). The Beneficiary emphasized that he gain knowldedge about significant role of norway and EEA grants for environmental activities. Project has contributed to increasing local awareness in field of CO2 reduction.
