Description
The aim of the project is a reduction of energy consumption and elimination of energy waste in four buildings of the Social Assistance Home for the elderly and the disabled in Przatówek. The main goal of the project is to increase the energy efficiency of the Social Assistance Home. The completed project shall include the following results: four thermo-modernized buildings; replacement of central heating boilers; installment of renewable energy items; and an increase in renewable energy production. The completed project shall include the following thermo-modernization works: the replacement of windows and doors; thermal insulation of walls and roofs; replacement of the thermal heating installation; installation of renewable energy items; and installation of energy efficient lighting. The local authorities, citizens, and residents of the Social Assistance Home are expected to benefit from the lowered energy consumption, lowered cost of heating in the longer term, reduced emissions of air pollutants from combustion of traditional fuels, and respect for the environment in the county.
Summary of project results
Projects implementation has contributed to improving of energy efficiency in the Zduńskowolski district. Thermomodernisational works covered 4 buildings of Public Nursing Home. Within the project over 5,3 thousand sqaure metres of partition were insulated and 22 res installed. 4 heating sources were replaced in order to be more ecological and effective. Investment allowed to reduce CO2 emission (3,012.3 Mg/year), energy produced from RES amount to 2,229.00 MWh/year). The Beneficiary claim that he gain experience not only in frame of greenhouse gases emission reduction but also connected with projects managing and promoting.
