Description

Knowledge and awareness of the protection of Biodiversity and Ecosystems (BBE) in the local community is low. In increasing this knowledge and awareness, a big role can be played by NGOs, which need to increase their potential to advocate the ecological protection of BBE. The aim of the project is to increase the capacity of NGOs (Fundacji VIA oraz Fundacji Odnowa) in order for them to promote knowledge of BBEs. To do so, the project will increase the organizational and substantive skills of two non-governmental organizations in the protection of biodiversity and ecosystems, and increase the knowledge and awareness of local communities covered by the project in terms of the need for BBE protection. The target groups of the project are two non-governmental organizations and the local community in the districts of Ostroleka, Szczytno and Kętrzyn, which has a total of approximatelt 14 thousand inhabitants.
