Description

The topic of biodiversity is not sufficiently taught neither in elementary nor in secondary school in Poland. This project is needed to fill this gap in the country's education. To do so, the project will focus on drafting and publishing educational materials, and on the organization of workshops. These activities aim to increase public awareness of biodiversity and education in this field in conjunction with their awareness of the challenges related to climate change and the economic value of ecosystems. The project will organize a cycle of countrywide methodological workshops for teachers and for hunters associated with the Polish Hunting Association (PZL) and equip NGOs involved in environmental education with educational materials. The people expected to benefit from the project are the participants of workshops, website visitors, and the students of the workshop participants.
