The objective of the Project is to develop personal and professional capacities of the specialists for successful work with the juveniles prone to committing crimes, optimise complex intercommunication of institutions of various levels. This Project seeks to solve application of educational measures to juveniles supervised by Šiauliai Regional Probation Service in the most rational way by invoking experience and competencies of non-governmental organizations. The target group is: Specialists who work with the juveniles prone to committing crime and the juveniles who are supervised by Šiauliai Regional Probation Service. The pursued impact is strengthened capacities of the Project partners and formed favourable environment for non-governmental sector working with the youth.
Summary of project results
Juvenile offenders are increasingly focused on the Conduct Impact Measure on restrictive behaviour - participation in social education or rehabilitation measures organized by state or non-state institutions and organizations. The objective of the Project Capacity building platform "Success vector" was to develop personal and professional capacities of the specialists for successful work with the juveniles prone to committing crimes, optimise complex intercommunication of institutions of various levels. The Project aimed to solve application of educational measures to juveniles supervised by Šiauliai Regional Probation Service in the most rational way by invoking experience and competencies of non-governmental organizations. During the project study visit to Norway for specialists working with target group (the juveniles prone to committing crime and the juveniles who are supervised by Šiauliai Regional Probation Service) was organized, 3 visits of Norway specialists in Šiauliai took place to share best practices. Moreover, trainings for 12 specialists, 20 representatives of target group and 20 parents of target group representatives were organized. After the implementation of the project capacities of the specialists working with target group were increased and favourable environment for non-governmental sector working with the youth was formed.
Summary of bilateral results
Project partner - Trondheim municipality‘s work and competence center „Stavne“ during implementation of the project shared their long term consulting experience in work with risk groups, youth, problem families and etc. With the active participation of Norvegian partners interneship in Trondheim (Norway) was organized. Project partners also visited Lithuania for wider coverage of experience share.
