Description

The JSC "Cherry servers" provides hosting services. The company is constantly expanding its range of services provided and making investments for improving its service quality. Therefore it has earned a name of reliable supplier in Lithuania and abroad. In 2010 JSC "Cherry servers" introduced its trademark for foreign markets (BalticServers), considered one of the biggest exporters among data centers in Lithuania, providing services in 160 countries. Since the company's clients are increasing rapidly the project promoter brought up concerns of increased energy consumption and heat emissions. In order to mitigate the negative impact to the environment a new systems module (additional cooling unit + office ventilation system, 40 more servers, recuperative system and two uninterruptible power supplies (UPS)) will be installed to lower electricity consumption and reduce the company's carbon footprint. The technology has already been successfully adapted in Scandinavian countries. The company's heat exchange system will also be installed in this module in order to reuse the heat created in its servers and provide heating and hot water for applicants premises.
