Description

The Project Promoter and its partner is a company dealing with poultry rearing and processing for decades. The project searches for the solution for difficulties relating to rearing and processing of poultry. The project contains 4 main elements 1. Air quality control investment: The aim is to reduce the ammonia concentration of the air of poultry stables and to improve the energy efficiency by a new heat changer. 2. Poultry litter manure storage, treatment and recycling: The manure now is composted, but because of the capacity building by this project, a larger storage is required. 3. Precipitation water recycling: utilization of precipitation incl. rain and snow, as a result of which the water demand from the current resource (pipe water) will be reduced. 4. Waste management: a comprehensive investment program in which the slaughterhouse wastes will be collected selectively from each other and by-products, secondary raw materials can be produced. The result of the project is a more effective and efficient rearing and processing system at the promoter and its partners regarding the use of energy and by-product management.

Summary of project results

The air quality control investment includes combination of different technological solutions. The aim of the investment is reducing the ammonia concentration of the air of poultry’s tables and to improve their energy and economic efficiency. Biogas production Utilization of precipitation incl. rain and snow, via technological modification of the heat exchange system. Waste management The targets where 100% realized. Project 's outcome: automatized cooling system, bio-chair system by broiler chicken, combined system for collecting and cleaning the rain and snow, a new system to the selective collection of by-products the slaughterhouse. 1 new waste management technology, 1 new green job, waste reduce 100%, 9294.69t/year, energy saving 20%, 10MWh/year, 1 licence, specific waste water discharge 0,18 lit/kg paying live weight, specific waste water production reduce 3%/ paying live weight, water save 3%/ paying live weight, one new technology, new air quality system.
