Description

Despite disadvantageous geographical and climatic conditions, Icelandic agriculture has excellent results that should be interesting to the people with Hungarian vocational education. It is important to get to know more about Icelandic vocational education because there have been some major changes in this field in Hungary since 2010, such as the introduction of dual education. On-the-job training in vocational education is greatly emphasized in Iceland. The project plans a study visit to Iceland lasting 10 days. The study visit aims to study: the agriculture of Iceland and the agricultural vocational education of Iceland. During the visit the participants will: attend lectures; visit middle and higher vocational educational institutions; visit practice areas; negotiate further cooperation; and sign cooperation agreements. The beneficiaries of the study visit will be: members of the Agricultural Chamber; teachers of vocational schools; and farmers participating in the on-the-job training. The participant partner institutions will cooperate with each other in the creation of the study.
