Description

Our aim is to prevent on-line and off-line harassment and violence against women (inside the family). We will organize a series of trainings together with a foundation, and two specialists a training serial, where 12 endangered groups of pupils from 5 institution will participate. 2 times 200 children will be there, and the 3. occasion will be held only for girls. Participants obtain information regarding their rights and possibilities. They also acquire strategies to enforce these rights. They learn on these 4 hour meetings assertive communication methods and tools of their personal and legal defense. They get prepared on real emergency, or harassment with the help of situation and role plays. They can elaborate their own communication, defense and enforcement strategies under safe circumstances and model situation. Thanks to the training the children will be able to react effectively on an offense against them. We also organize 2 social forum for social workers to analyze and disseminate project outcomes.

Summary of project results

The project aim was to prevent on-line and off-line harassment and violence against women. The project promoter organised 4 times 4 hours training for 162 pupils from 5 institution. Participants obtained information regarding their rights and possibilities. They also have learnt strategies to enforce these rights. They learned on these meetings assertive communication methods and tools of their personal and legal defence. Additionally they organised so called projectdays, where elaborated those 5 most important topics of the trainings with non-formal learning methods, involving 319 pupils. Thanks to the trainings and project days children will be able to react effectively on an offence against them. They also organise 2 social forum for social workers to analyse and disseminate project outcomes. They accomplished an effective media campaign and their actions focused the attention of more than 1000 pupils and professionals to the problem of any kind of violence within the family, of cyber-bulying and sexism.
