Description

The goal of the project is the development of an existing video blog,(introblog.hu). We’ve worked on this blog volunteerly. On this page we are committed to show civil initiations, that are not or not emphatically shown by the media, although we are convinced, they are important to be shown. The project has an effect on those civil organizations and their connections, whose projects are introduced in our videos. We would like to reach those people also, who are interested in those issues we think are important. During the project we are about to make a minimum of 100 videos during a year. We would like to make a minimum of 12 videos in the country. Beside that we would like to organize public meetings in each month connected to the month’s most interesting video. We cooperate with the MH Líceum Foundation, with our 4 volunteers, and with those civil organizations and people we make the videos about. We cooperate with our students who are invited to this projects also as an internship.

Summary of project results

In Hungary many civil themes and projects are invisible for the majority, because these initiatives cannot be seen in the mainstream media, although they are important to be shown (eg.: women's rights, disadvantaged minority groups, subcultures, etc.) We established the introblog.hu viedoblog for showing their work. During the project they made 72 short videos about civil initiatives. They also made one long documentary film about the civil movements around the education. Their ratings doubled in the past one year. They organized five meetings that circuitted five highlight topics from the videos. They asked the civils to use and diffuse the videos, most of them used the oppurtunity. As a result these civil groups used these films for getting connections, advertising themselves, in presentations, in TV shows and for getting financial supporters. They are committed to continue the videoblog. In the past one year they found those collagues, who are also committed to continue the work with us
