Description

In Nyíregyhaza there are lot of buildings where people cannot go/transport with a baby stroller or a wheelchairs. Our aims to support the daily routine of mothers and disabled people. The barrier-free transport is indirectly contribute to increase the activity in local community and to get better quality of life of these sensible and disadvantaged groups and to abolish the interfering circumstances, which undermines the confidence of these people constantly. Further more, the barrier-free buildings of public services can also facilitate to reach a higher level of service, which can be more suitable for those who want to use it. The results of the project will be 1 campaign, 6 events 5 media media publications, 20 voluntary, 120, and 10.000 person. Our target groups are institutions, shops- which has not had suitable access yet. Moreover, customer service offices which are visited by a lot of clients, and whose role in common life are particularly necessary.

Summary of project results

In Nyíregyhaza there are lot of buildings in where people cannot transport with baby stroller, wheelchairs. Our aims to support thedaily routine of mothers and disabled people. We intend to improve the quality of their life and get them the same chance to manage their live as others. In order to establish acceptance and helpful attitude, we carried out a walking campaign on 14th November 2014 with representatives of the press, moms of the baby club, the wheel-chaired students and teachers of the Ridens, as well as a number of interested people in wheelchairs. We reward those institutions and businesses who act properly and legally with a sticker. We publish a list of the places with stickers and we provide free online advertising space for them. Our result, that we can make it a prestige to join the obstacle cleared institutions, to prove the target group that the accessibility can be associated with measurable benefits for them.
