Summary of project results

The objective of the project was to develop a complex website that combines the functions of a specialized portal and a social networking website in order to help parents, pedagogies, researchers and theater professionals with their work and activities. The preparations of the website went smoothly: the project promoter elaborated in details the specification of the website (users, permissions, functions, menu, general content etc.). Also the layout, logo, design and also the mock-ups were planned with the help of focus groups of theater professionals, pedagogies and others who are concerned. Based on the prepared specification and design the first version of the website was prepared and the alfa test was realized. However the web programing service provider did not proceeded in accordance with the agreement that caused delays in the project. The project promoter tried to change the service provider but according to the complexity of website programming it was not possible. Fortunately, every effort put in problem solving was successful thus the website is realized, the beta test and registration of theatre programs was delayed but realized. A communication plan was elaborated in which the long-term development ideas were summarized as well. The project promoter aims to make the website sustainable thus 3 volunteers (the project coordinator and 2 admin of the website) will continuously check the site and upload relevant contents. The establishment of the website answered the 3 main problems off theater education: so now there is a system which is transparent and ensures quality assurance.
