Description

The project idea is to develop smartphone based work and fleet management system for SME companies in transport and logistics focus area. The system will help to improve the efficiency of resource usage through improved efficiency of work scheduling and management. Solution provides SME-s improvement in work planning, real-time assignment-related communication with main server, existence of historical data for all assignment-related details, possibility of integration with existing business information systems, low initial investment costs, low running costs and customizability. This project, supported under the small grant scheme, will aim to further elaborate the project idea with the aim of repairing the project application for the main open call under the Green Industry Innovation programme. The funding will also be used to search for possible partners to be involved in the project.

Summary of project results

Mobile Fleet Management System "SeeMe Mobile" project ideas is to improve the efficiency of resource usage in small and medium enterprises in transport and logistics focus area by developing a smartphone based work and fleet management system which improves the efficiency of work scheduling and management and through that supports a cleaner environment. Project aims towards reduction of paper documentation and data transfer, digitalization of data and route optimization for mobile units. Small grant scheme project activities were set to prepare project documentation for the first open call, in which project promoter participated. Small grant scheme activities have been conducted, during which the business idea was analysed and assessed. Project promoter has conducted the marketing and competition analysis, business plan and environmental impact assessment analysis. Partner search activities were considered successful as project application in the first open call was submitted as donor partnership project.
