Description

Social protection system of today’s Estonia functions by virtue of the mandatory but unpaid work of informal carers. Ideally, the aim would be to insure an equal partner status for the informal carers and to protect their health and economic and social welfare. The aim of the project is to support the organisation in influencing society and in improving the social welfare of informal carers through the growth of management capability and economical independence. As a result of the project the organisation’s ability to fulfil its mission has increased. A competent board and „The chamber of experience“ will initiate activities that support the informal carers’ health and subsistence, disseminate relevant information, organise training and empowerment events and involve volunteers. The whole society benefits from this project alongside with the disabled people and their family members and relatives as their informal carers.
