Description

The project addresses the need to boost the organizational and financial sustainability of the applicant to help implement its activities. The project aims at boosting the sustainability via a series of training courses for the applicant’s team and information campaigns promoting volunteering and giving. First, an online platform will be developed to promote the applicant’s work and boost its capacity. Second, the applicant’s team will be trained in project development and management, promotion of volunteering and giving initiatives, civil and legal issues related to local self-governance and exchange of good practices and knowledge. Third, a series of information campaigns promoting volunteering and training courses for donors will be held. Finally, the Donor’s Club will be set up. The project will benefit the applicant’s team and clients, volunteers and the local community.

Summary of project results

The project resulted in the organization having a new website, trained members and new volunteers taking part in its activities. The project achieved its goals and the association launched its active civil work. The project outcomes are as follows: 1. Developed website of the association and a Facebook page where information about the initiatives of the association is posted; 2. The association members were trained in the following areas: - project development and management for various funding programmes and the EU operational programmes; - promotion of volunteering initiatives; - promotion of giving; - various civil law issues related to the local self-government; - exchange and dissemination of good practices and knowledge. 3. 19 new volunteers were attracted; 4. the work of the association was promoted. The association members and volunteers were actively involved in all activities and increased their experience and knowledge.
