Description

The project addresses the need of the applicant to enhance its organizational sustainability to deliver better services to its clients, disadvantaged people. The project aims at boosting the applicant’s capacity by training its staff, uniting them in a team-building event and developing a strategic plan. First, a situation analysis will be carried out and the strategic plan of the organization for the next 5 years will be developed as well as its communication and financial strategy. Second, the applicant’s team will be trained in management and social services, financial management, mobile social work and public promotion. Third, the team will get to know each other better during a teambuilding event. Next, a joint training of 10 employees, volunteers and 4 reporters will be held to develop their skills for cooperation. Finally, the organization will be promoted in the local community. The project will benefit the applicant’s team, volunteers and its clients.

Summary of project results

The project Development Mission addressed the need of the project promoter to enhance its organizational sustainability to deliver better services to its clients, disadvantaged people. It is the first project of the organization and it enabled the organization to develop its capacity. The specialized training workshops and activities helped recruit volunteers and lay the foundations of developing the capacity of both the volunteers and the team of the Association. The training with the media helped establish relations of partnership with the local media. The lecture delivered to the Roma community on an important topic for the Roma gained recognition for the organization among one of its target groups. The team-building exercise for the team members and the newly recruited volunteers helped establish team relations which would support future joint work. The project outcomes include 1 strategy for the development of the organization and 6 packages of training materials.
