Description
The project addresses the need to boost the applicant’s capacity to enable it to stay competitive. The project aims at raising the professional capacity of the applicant’s team and thus improving the long-term financial and administrative sustainability of the applicant. First, the applicant’s team will take part in a 2-day teambuilding event to outline its strategic plan with the help of a consultant. Second, the team will take part in a 2-day fundraising training. Next, the applicant’s Fundraising Strategy will be developed. Finally, a 2-day training course will be held for the applicant’s team to improve its skills to deliver social services, the applicant being the registered supplier of 2 social services for children. The project will benefit the applicant’s team, experts and volunteers as well as indirectly its clients.
Summary of project results
The project addressed the need to boost the project promoter’s capacity to enable it to stay competitive. The project activities achieved their goal with specific benefits for the organization: developed criteria for development, boosted capacity of the team and provision of better quality services to the beneficiaries, improved feedback from the community work, increased fund-raising opportunities. The following outputs were developed: a strategy for the development of the organization for the period 2015-2020, a plan for strategic development, an operational plan for development, a fund-raising strategy and a fund-raising portfolio.
