Summary of the results

During the initiative, meetings with representatives of the Norwegian institutions and specialists providing health promotion services for children and youth were organized. The aim was to draw on the experience of Norwegian partners in implementing the measures of the Program, such as the "Implementation and adaptation of the provision of youth-friendly healthcare services model" and "Provision of health offices in pre-schools and schools with methodological tools".

During the meetings, measures aimed at promoting the healthpromotion services for children and youth implemented and ongoing in Nordre Follo municipality and in Lithuania were presented, representatives of Klaipėda, Mažeikiai, Alytus, Rokiškis and Trakai district municipalities shared their good practices and project implementation results, discussions were held on the organization and financing of health promotion services for children and youth, and connections with Norwegian institutions were established. It is proposed that in the future, when strengthening the healthcare for children and youth, efforts should be made to seek measures that enhance the competence of public health specialists (and creating tools) to provide individual consultations. Following the initiative, further collaboration with Norwegian partners is planned. Additionally, maintaining connections with Nordre Follo Municipality.
