Summary of the results

The main objective of this bilateral initiative was the exchange of good practices and innovative methodologies between IASIS, an organization experienced in psychosocial services and counseling, and the Icelandic Women''s Rights Association, which specializes in social inequalities and women''s rights promotion. The initiative focused on two key pillars: "Counseling" and "Education," which were closely interrelated based on the identified needs of the beneficiaries. The initiative addressed the need for innovative vocational training and counseling methodologies, particularly in the post-COVID-19 era, where new approaches and strategic partnerships are essential. The exchange of ideas and practices aimed at enhancing these areas and creating opportunities for collaboration between the two organizations. It also provided the chance to explore how the cultural contexts of Greece and Iceland could contribute to innovative solutions. Key deliverables of the initiative included: a) The exchange of innovative methodologies and good practices between the two organizations. b) The creation of a network of organizations focused on counseling and supporting socially vulnerable groups. c) The coordination of joint submissions for European programs, with plans to explore these opportunities further in 2022.
