Activities under the grant respond to the key challenge of the non-governmental sector, which is the need to increase the effectiveness of NGOs in fundraising and promotion of NGOs. As part of this grant, educational activities in the area of promotion and fundraising will be carried out, in which at least 120 people from 30 non-governmental organizations will participate. 1) Promo & Fund Club conference, during which experts/practitioners from non-governmental organisations will share their experiences in the field of fundraising and promotional campaigns in the form of lectures and workshops. The conference will be preceded by 4 online webinars aimed at introducing the conference''s thematic area and encourage NGO practitioners to participate. 2) Developing promotional and fundraising campaigns for NGOs in the form of Action Learning activities, in which practitioners are supported by people from other organisations. This grant will help build the recognition of the Promo& Fund Foundation through a promotional campaign for its activities (conferences, webinars) as well as build a community around the Foundation, which will enable it to continue its activities after the grant ends. It will also strengthen the foundation in terms of expertise, thanks to a trainer training with Action Learning, which will be attended by the Foundation''s experts.
Summary of project results
The aim of the project was the institutional development of our Foundation and the implementation of educational activities in the area of fundraising aimed at non-governmental organizations.
Educational activities carried out as part of the grant: 1) Promo & Fund Conference (4-5.12.2023, Wrocław), during which experts/practitioners from non-governmental organizations shared their experiences in the field of implemented fundraising and promotional campaigns. 2) 4 webinars “Concretely about promotion and fundraising” (19.10, 26.10, 9.11, 16.11.2023), which introduced participants to the thematic area of the conference and constituted a promotional element of the conference. 3) 2 Action learning processes, which lasted from February to March 2024. During the meetings in the form of Action Learning, representatives of non-governmental organizations, with the support of the group, worked on promotional and fundraising campaigns for their own organizations, exchanging experiences and discussing problems together. The institutional development activities of the Promo&Fund Foundation aimed to build an expert image of the foundation in the area of promotion and fundraising and to strengthen the substantive knowledge of the foundation''s experts. Implemented activities: - Promotional campaign of educational activities in social media (September-December 2023). We also started building a community around the foundation. We established cooperation with experts in the area of promotion and fundraising as well as with companies and organizations supporting NGOs in various regions. - Trainer training with Action Learning, in which the foundation''s experts took part (September - December 2023). We applied the knowledge acquired during the expert training in practice, conducting 2 Action Learning processes in the area of promotion and fundraising with 8 organizations.
Educational activities carried out as part of the grant: 1) Promo & Fund Conference (4-5.12.2023, Wrocław): 81 participants from 69 non-governmental organizations from all over Poland. Video recordings of the 1st day of the conference are available. 2) 4 webinars “Specifically about promotion and fundraising” (19.10, 26.10, 9.11, 16.11.2023): 155 people from 134 organizations. The webinars are still available on the Promo&Fund website 3) 2 Action learning processes, which lasted from February to March 2024: 8 non-governmental organizations. Thanks to the implementation of the above activities, 236 practitioners from 194 organizations gained knowledge and increased their competences in the area of promotion and fundraising. Results - institutional development of the Promo&Fund Foundation: - we acquired 3,500 new users on the website, the number of followers on FB, IG and Li increased (251, 83 and 61 respectively) - we acquired 98 newsletter subscribers. - we reached 194 non-governmental organizations with attractive and necessary substantive content. - we established cooperation with 15 experts in the area of promotion and fundraising and with 10 companies and organizations supporting NGOs in various regions. - participation of 2 experts in the training of trainers in Action Learning - conducting 2 Action Learning processes in the area of promotion and fundraising with 8 organizations.
