Description
The applicant performs researches in the Czech Republic – these are focused on the inquiry-based learning; the obtained results are implemented into his instruction. However, the results need to be compared and synthetized with the foreign countries as well. The Norwegian workplace in Bergen, which will be visited, is a part of “bioCEED – Centre of Excellence in Biology Education”, which is a top-workplace in research of inquiry-based learning. This is highly motivating not only for the knowledge transfer, but also for acquisition of new skills applicable into the instruction at Palacký University in the Czech Republic.
Summary of project results
In the course of January and February 2016, doc. Dostál went to the University of Bergen for the research fellowship. At the University of Bergen he became acquainted with realized projects, ways of directing international projects and he consulted possibilities of research focused on the specific didactic issues of inquiry based education. By the establishment of contacts abroad, the space for further cooperation at both the faculty and university level was successfully created for students as well as for the teachers. By the creation of another possibility to share experience leading to a possible reduction of social and economic inequalities in the European space mutual institutional and personal relationships will be strengthen.
