Description

We will use this grant to employ a person responsible for fundraising and to carry out an information and education campaign dedicated to the problem of violence against women. The campaign will make use of citylights provided by the city. We will post infographics designed by students of the University of the Arts Poznan on which statistics on violence against women in Poland will be presented. We will use the message: "If you experience violence, contact us at...", and provide our phone number, address and logo. Citylight media are located mainly at tram and bus stops. We will also share the infographics on our social media channels. The campaign will run from late September/early October until December 2023.

Summary of project results

The aim of the project was to increase the availability of specialist support for women whose rights are violated and who experience various forms of violence, by providing psychological support, running a support group and eight-hour on-site and telephone intervention, which was intended to increase the quality of assistance provided to clients. An additional goal was to raise the awareness of the Poznań society about discrimination and violence against women and to increase the recognition of our organization both at the local and national level by conducting a local advertising campaign (placing infographics designed by young artists, graduates of the University of Arts in Poznań, on media citylights available free of charge and on the organization''s social media). The project was intended to support networking with other organizations that deal with the topic of counteracting violence against women (exchange of experiences, learning about their functioning and offer). Establishing cooperation was intended to contribute to increasing the recognition of our organization in the feminist community. In turn, employing a person responsible for fundraising was to influence the diversification of revenues, maintain the continuity of our activities and create new job positions.
