Description
The data from international studies of student achievement show that a decrease of literacy levels and an inequality in educational achievement might threaten the economic and social stability of the Czech Republic. During an exchange, the participant will work on secondary analyses of data from international studies on reading literacy, science and mathematics and studies of civic behaviour under guidance of researchers from the University of Oslo – MESA unit. New skills will be acquired and the partnership for sharing expertise in educational research and data-driven school improvement will be shared. The resulting information will inform the educational policy and curriculum framework reform in the Czech Republic in the area of primary and secondary education. Research papers and articles in the professional press will be published.
