Description
The project aims to improve energy behavior of the decision makers, civil servants and local community as well as raise social awareness on energy efficiency, renewable energy and energy security.
Project`s key activities in order to attain its objectives are structured in three directions:
-the development of a Training Programme addressed to all public employees and public decision making persons;
-the development of a public campaign targeting different social categories from Lumina`s community, raising awareness regarding the energy efficiency and renewable energy sources;
-the organisation of the Energy Patrols in schools in order to engage pupils by active learning.
Summary of project results
The project aimed to improve energy behavior of the decision makers, civil servants and local community as well as raise social awareness on energy efficiency, renewable energy and energy security.
A series of training sessions were organized targeted towards decision makers and public servants, as well as a public campaign in order to increase the awareness regarding the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency measures.
The project has raised awareness and improved the knowledge on people involved in the training sessions on topics such as renewable energy, energy security and energy efficiency measures.
