Description

The idea of the project is to promote green energy by engaging the public in an awareness campaign and by generating an environment for training in the field of New Energy Solutions.  This way the project aims to engage high school and university students as well as people and stakeholders in the West part of Romania to take positive actions in support of the goal of the project by actively taking part in the proposed activities. The project aims to increase interest in green energy and promote the available solutions and as such, help develop the societal transfer from fossil-based energy toward green-based energy. 

The activities to be carried out are organized in two major directions: 
(i) Training activities: design of curricula for courses in the field of Hydrogen Energy; selection of trainers; preparation of training materials; training sessions; training in development of hydrogen solutions; training in design, fabrication and testing of a hydrogen powered vehicle. 
(ii) Education and Awareness activities: Education activities at high schools and university level; Design and implementation of the project web page; Design, preparation and distribution of promotional materials; Mass media campaign; Open day activity; Researcher night activity; Seminar - Hydrogen energy today; Web portal for advertising job opportunities in new energy solutions

Summary of project results

The project aimed to promote green energy by engaging the public in an awareness campaign and by generating an environment for training in the field of New Energy Solutions.  

 

 

The project activities involved development of training and awareness raising. During the project implementation, a hydrogen powered bycicle was designed and tested.

The project contributed to the increase of interest in green energy and promotion of available solutions and as such, help develop the societal transfer from fossil-based energy toward green-based energy.
