Description

The aim of the project is to implement a new model of domestic violence prevention. The model will be a "tool" to reduce the phenomenon of domestic violence by improving the quality of relationships in the family, in particular between spouses/partners. As part of the model, a Project Promoter will create the Family Centre, which will be based mainly on the current system of work and cooperation and activities of institutions in the commune.

The project will promote equal treatment of women and men, e.g. by developing information and educational materials, including online materials, the project website will be compliant with the WCAG 2.1 standard. Activities in the project are aimed at counteracting discrimination and combating stereotypes, prejudices and harmful practices. The facilities where the project activities will take place will be architecturally accessible to people with disabilities, e.g. there will be no thresholds or steps at the entrance to the buildings, or alternatively there will be a driveway with handrails; There will be parking spaces for the disabled next to the buildings. All activities will be planned to ensure full availability.

The project will promote equality in relation to every aspect of family life (e.g. related to the division of work and home duties), it will emphasize the disapproval of violence against any person, in particular women.

The management team will include both women and men, as the applicant would like to use the perspective of both sexes when implementing the project and new tools. During the training, issues related to gender equality, equal treatment, anti-mobbing, harassment and discrimination will be discussed.
