Description
The project aims promoting the Roma culture and art among the general public at the national level, creating artistic and creative products from the minority and their distribution among representatives of the target groups, the majority and all stakeholders. Cultural events, artistic and stage performances of children from minority groups in peripheral areas are planned to be held. The creative products made in the minority community will be popularized and visualized, but at the same time, so that to overcome the isolation, the public in remote small settlements will be reached. The colourfulness, high artistic value and positive charge of the planned events will awaken the periphery and will provoke new audiences to the art and cultural life in the country. A complex of creative performances of Roma children is planned. In the form of a tour will be presented a combined children''s show with the participation of dance, theatre and music troupe. The events will be accompanied by a traveling exhibition of works by Roma children from Shukaritet Atelier. A National Literary Competition for Roma children and youth will be organized, and as a result a Book-collection of works will be published. The project also envisages a practical seminar for exchange of experience and good practices regarding the ways to attract new audiences. Expected results: • creation of creative products of representatives of the Roma ethnic group - drawings, traveling spectacle, traveling exhibition, Book-collection of original Roma works • revitalization of the periphery and remote small settlements by holding creative performances and exhibitions • attracting new audiences to the culture and art of the Roma ethnic group.
