Description

The Elblag Association For Non Governmental Initiative Support has developed its 2021-2027 strategy in a participatory manner in cooperation with its members and staff. We have also conducted surveys among stakeholders. The strategy was adopted by a resolution of the Management Board in 2020. As part of the project, we want to focus on several activities within the following strategic areas: 1. A closed-loop economy – giving objects a second life, protecting the environment; 2. Socio-professional reintegration – running a socio-professional reintegration programme for people at risk of social exclusion, 3. Transnational cooperation – identifying similar projects and disseminating them in the non-governmental sector in Poland; 4. Research and social innovation – launching and running a Centre for the Repair and Reuse of Objects; 5. Social economy – demonstrating (by our own example) how to develop a social enterprise operating in the area of the closed-loop economy and encouraging others to take initiatives in the area of the European Green Deal; 6. Strong civic siciety organisations – animation and advisory support for 3 organisations to develop a concept for their closed-loop economy activities. 7. Active communities and the Grant Fund – support of 2 groups of citizens/local communities in the form of a grant to implement their own initiatives in the field of the closed-loop economy and or environmental education. The development of the concept and documentation related to the launch of the Centre for the Repair and Reuse of Objects is a strategic and horizontal direction for the development of the Elblag Association For Non Governmental Initiative Support, which horizontally influences the development of our other programme areas. Furthermore, it influences the Association''s organisational capacity, by supporting the development of appropriate infrastructure and material resources. It also helps strengthen the process of economising the organisation.
