Description

Organisational Grant - implementation of the submitted strategy.

The OPUS Centre has a strategy for 2022-2025. Our mission is to support people in achieving their social goals. We aim to strengthen the role of the civic sector in the Łódzkie Province by developing programmes to activate residents, supporting NGOs and developing social entrepreneurship. Our values are respect, acceptance and empathy. Activity and cooperation are important to us. Our partners are local leaders, local authorities and business. Our strategic goals until 2025 are: 1. To strengthen local activism of residents of the city of Lodz and of the whole region as informed citizens; 2. To strengthen NGOs operating in the city of Lodz and in the whole region as partners of the public and private sectors; 3. To integrate the social economy into the entrepreneurial development in the region; 4. To adapt the organisational development of the OPUS Centre to its programme activities. Our main activities include: 1. To support civic activity of the residents (e.g. to support the creation and development of the Neighbourhood Activity Zones, running the Lodz Multicultural Centres and local centres); 2. To support non-governmental organisations (e.g. tu run the Łodz Civic Centre and the Local NGO Centres); 3. To develop social entrepreneurship; 4. To adapt the organisation to the directions of development, including: (a) development and implementation of solutions for ensuring quality services (staff supervisions, process descriptions, CRM, online services), (b) implementing a new governance structure, c) building financial sustainability (fundraising, international projects, paid services). We will conduct monitoring and evaluation of the strategy on the basis of semi-annual reviews of the implementation of the strategy and operational plans (projects). Once a year, there will be a team meeting to assess the degree of implementation of the strategy and develop an action plan for the following year.
