Organisational Grant - implementation of the submitted strategy.
The Foundation for Collegium Polonicum started its activities in December 2002. The aim of its founders was to develop the educational activities of Collegium Polonicum. Over the course of 20 years, the Foundation has become an important ''umbrella'' organisation in the Lubuskie Province, primarily supporting local development and initiatives for the common good. Our capacity building plan (organisation’s strategy) was elaborated in a participatory manner with the contribution of the whole Foundation’s team. The document was developed with a view to 2030. Our mission: We change perspectives, connect potentials. Using dialogue and the resources and capacities of the parties involved, we aim to meet the real needs of local communities. We create avenues of communication to network institutions, organisations and other actors. The range of activities we undertake is diverse, as is the team we form together. We complement each other. We feel co-responsible for our immediate environment. We try to infect others with such thinking. This is the change we are striving for. Our vision: We want to become the organisation of first choice as a social partner for NGOs, local government units and business. We want to be a hub for social economy entities, and support people at risk of exclusion. Our strategic objectives: 1. Strengthening social activities at the local level, 2. Increasing the potential of the social economy sector, 3. Strengthening science, education and cooperation, 4. Increasing accessibility of social services, 5. Developing the organisation’s sustainability. Our main target groups are: - Social economy entities, including NGOs and informal groups in the Lubuskie Province, - People at risk of exclusion, including the unemployed, beneficiaries of social welfare centres, addicted persons, people in the crisis of homelessness, elderly dependants, - Local authorities and the whole local community.
